Play with the best players Go to the best tournaments Be recruited by the best colleges
What make Alaska Northstars different from club trips?
- We are not a club; last year over 100 players from 33 different teams joined our trips.
- As a select team doing well at the same tournaments we get accepted to premier events.
- Using our unique Athlete Advising database we send team profiles to hundreds of coaches
prior to the event so they know what players to look for and where to see them.
- High quality production of game tapes at elite events to send to college coaches.
- At the events, some Northstars' staff coach while others spend time marketing Alaska players.
- College coaches contact us on a regular basis asking about Alaska players.
- By going to the same events logistics are wired and costs kept to a minimum.

Northwest College Soccer Tour
The Northwest College tour is arguably the best thing Alaska Northstars has done for helping students find the right college for the academics and athletic pursuits.
We consistently hear from coaches the best way to be recruited is to attend a camp. Rather than seeing you for 15 minutes at a game a camp provides in-depth exposure to coaches and a chance to get see if a campus fits for you. A 'traveling' camp visiting allows you to visit 12-14 colleges in the Northwest, getting training from and exposure to coaches where most Alaskans go. We were blown away with colleges of all levels wanting us to visit. In addition to trainings and games, 2-3 per day, we have a great time attending a Seattle Sounders game!

Selection
All trips are open to all high school students. Our
priority is to fill age groups with older players who
need the most recruting views. If a full age group at
any level comes together we will take that age. For
instance, we have sent U15 through U19 teams to the
same tournaments. If a younger age group does not go
players may join an older age depending on quality of
play and space on the roster.
Players are selected on soccer accomplishments, coach comments, age group and position needs, and observations during Alaska tournament play.
